Arrington Systems was started back on June 1st 2000, to help friends and family with their computer issues. Since the owner was in the Information Technology field for a small Fortune 100 company in the Chicagoland area. He decided he would start Arrington Systems as a way to get better prices for computer equipment and software for his friends and customers.

In 2001 Arrington Systems became a sole proprietorship business in order to become affiliated with Microsoft’s Partnership Program .This Partnership helped Arrington Systems learn about Microsoft’s new licensing schemes to better protect itself and its customers. One of the things Arrington Systems learned in it first couple years of doing business, there were a lot of clients in the industry running illegal copies of Windows on their Computers.

Arrington Systems also learned that most customers didn’t keep up with their Antivirus solutions. Leaving them open to malicious code. In 2003/4 Arrington Systems started looking for a well rounded application that would protect its users by working in the background with little or no input from the customer. Arrington Systems contacted Alwil and asked if they could test the application before Microsoft even acknowledge their software. Arrington Systems signed up to be a distributor/reseller of the product called Avast. Since 2004 Arrington Systems has retooled and become Arrington Systems Inc. Arrington Systems has over 20 satisfied customers today using Avast from 1-20user license setup.

Arrington Systems has also migrated customers from a peer to peer network to a fully integrated Active Directory domain with multiple locations.
